During the summer vacation, Ying Min, President of Zhejiang Wanli University, led a group of delegates to visit and sign contracts of cooperation with Dalarna University of Sweden and Agricultural University of Slovakia, in order to implement the strategy of internationalization.
In DalarnaUniversity, our delegation was warmly welcomed by the president, vice president, and the dean of international office. The two parties held a friendly discussion about Wanli students’ short term communication program and degree program. After the meeting the delegates also visited the campus of DalarnaUniversity and talked with the deans of some departments about the future cooperation in scientific and technological aspect.
In SlovakiaAgriculturalUniversity, President Ying Min and other delegates were welcomed by the president and dean of international office. The two parties held friendly meetings and discussed about the future coordination and some exchange programs. At the signing ceremony, President Ying Min delivered a speech, in which he introduced the conditions of our university and expressed his wish for cooperation and communication with SlovakiaAgriculturalUniversity. Then contracts were signed on the student exchange program and Erasmus Programme. After this visit, three Wanli undergraduates will go to this university to have one term study, which is sponsored by Erasmus Programme and is intended to promote European higher education.
As an important strategy, internationalization accelerates the development of our university. To carry out “One Belt and One Road” strategy, one of the priorities is to have coordination with central and eastern European countries. In the process, WanliUniversity has made important contributions by promoting its cooperation with these countries.
