Dublin City University in Ireland Visited and Signed Cooperation Contract

On the morning of September 20, the vice president of Dublin City University (DCU) in Ireland, Albert Pratt visited Wanli University and discussed the topic of educational and strategic cooperation.
The Chairman of the Wanli Education group Xu Yafen warmly received the guests and introduced them to our university. In June, Ms. Xu visited DCU during her tour of Europe. DCU later visited Wanli University on during their Chinese tour. The executive President Chen Juexiang, the vice president Qian Guoying and the related deans of departments also met the visiting DCU group.

DCU is one of the most famous comprehensive state-owned universities Ireland, and caters to the fast-developing high-tech industry and fluctuating demands de rigueur in Irish society. Though DCU is newly founded, it has exerted great influence on Ireland with its majors in fields such as commerce, humanism, science, computing, electronics and mechanical engineering. DCU has always met the demands of society, trade and enterprises, which ensures its graduates are always in high demand in the private and industry sectors. For many years, DCU has attracted top students from Ireland and all over the world to study in its high-quality teaching environment.

After friendly negotiations, the vice president Albert Pratt in DCU and the executive president Chen Juexiang signed an agreement to cooperate in education. It marked a breakthrough in interscholastic exchanges between Wanli University and higher educational institutions in Ireland. The agreement has also provided a new avenue in which our undergraduates can pursue overseas studies for master degrees. It seems certain that a great deal more educational cooperation will continue between DCU and Wanli University, and in a plethora of fields.
