Second Prize for State Level Teaching Achievements Goes to Our University

        In light of the documents of the Provisions on Awards for Teaching Achievements promulgated by the State Council and the Awards Measures for State Level Teaching Achievements in Higher Education of 2005 issued by the Ministry of Education, the Examination and Appraisal Committee of State Level Teaching Achievements in Higher Education of 2005 and the panel in charge of the awards for State Level Teaching Achievements in Higher Education of 2005 have chosen three special-class winners, 59 first prize winners and 537 second prize winners. The Ministry of Education announced that two first prizes and 23 second prizes went to Zhejiang Province while ‘The paper Innovation in School Running Systems: Exploring and Establishing Long-term Mechanism to Guarantee Education Quality’ by Xu Ya-fen, Wang Yuan-ming, Chen Jue-xiang, Qian Guo-ying and Wan Gan was awarded the second prize. The award serves not only as proof that our innovation in school running systems, exploration and establishment of long-term systems to guarantee education quality have been approved but also as new impetus to inspire all the teachers and students to do better still in the forthcoming university undergraduate teaching evaluation authorized by the Ministry of Education.
