June 17, a delegation from Algonquin College came to visit Zhejiang Wanli University. Previously, our university sent a visiting delegation led by deputy president Qian Guoying to Algonquin College and the two parties signed a framework agreement of collaboration and the details of program “three plus one”. Guided by the agreement and the detailed regulations, the delegates of the two parties held a heated discussion on the program “three plus one”, which means that a Wanli undergraduate may be admitted to Algonquin College for one year postgraduate diploma major when he or she finishes three years college education in Wanli University. And this undergraduate will finally receive a Bachelor Degree in Wanli University and a Master Degree in Algonquin College.
During the meeting, both sides also compared the courses in the two universities and found many similar and docking courses such as Event Management, International Business Management and Marketing Management, etc. This provides opportunities for our undergraduates to further their study abroad. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Algonquin College is a publicly funded English-language college established in 1967. It has eleven branch institutes, 175 majors and 58,000 students. Owing to it excellent teaching staff and advanced equipments, the college provides thousands of excellent graduates for all walks of life in Canada.
