November 26 – A delegation led by Vice President Élodie Hure of Rennes School of Business, France, paid a visit to our university. The delegation was warmly received by Ms. Lü Jie, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group, and Mr. Xu Liqing, Vice President of ZWU. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation and promoting shared development.
At the meeting, Ms. Lü Jie shared the more than 30-year journey of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group in advancing international education, highlighting its achievements and experience. She noted that Zhejiang Wanli University and Rennes School of Business have established a long-standing and stable partnership, and expressed her expectation that the two institutions would further broaden their collaborative vision and enrich the substance of cooperation. Through wider-ranging and deeper exchanges, she said, the two sides could explore innovative models of collaboration and jointly create new highlights and benchmarks for Sino-French educational cooperation.
Mr. Xu Liqing introduced the university’s history, educational philosophy, as well as its strategies and achievements in internationalization. He reviewed the fruitful outcomes of existing collaborations between the two institutions, including integrated bachelor’s-master’s programs and student exchange initiatives. He expressed hope that both sides would further expand cooperation in key areas such as the joint development of Sino-French cooperation platforms, two-way faculty and student exchanges, and international collaborative research projects, thereby enhancing the effectiveness and impact of their partnership.
Vice President Élodie Hure remarked that the two institutions share a high degree of alignment in their internationalized and innovation-oriented educational philosophies. She expressed her expectation that cooperation would continue to deepen and expand, fully leveraging the respective strengths and educational resources of both sides to jointly cultivate high-level, interdisciplinary talents with solid professional expertise, a global perspective, and strong cross-cultural communication skills, thus injecting new vitality into Sino-French educational exchange and economic and trade cooperation.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides signed an agreement to further deepen cooperation. Following the discussions, the delegation toured the teaching facilities of the Sino-German Faculty of Branding and the international student dormitories. The visitors spoke highly of ZWU’s excellent educational conditions, strong international atmosphere, and comprehensive support services.
