On the ninth of May, 2016, Yang Yangjie, the alumna of Zhejiang Wanli University, an outstanding member of G20 Youth Forum and the sole Chinese President of G20 Summit, returned to the university and delivered a speech to the students on campus.
Yang began her speech with her feelings in Ningbo as a girl from YunNanProvince. She said that she was deeply impressed by the commercial atmosphere in ZheJiangProvince and the inspiring stories of those entrepreneurs. It was their experiences that helped her to realize her own interest. She also encouraged undergraduates to have international view and combines it into their own career planning. When talking about college students’ career plan, she suggested they cultivate their personal ability and communicative ability, and show them in study and work.
At the end of her speech, Yang was granted a certificate of “mentor of alumni” and was invited to have more contact with Wanli students and share with them her life experiences. The speech ended with loud applauses and the students said they learned a lot from it.
