Effective Measures Taken to Promote High-Quality Employment for Our Postgraduates of 2022


Till August 1, all postgraduates of 2022 in Engineering Management Major have found good jobs and thus achieved high-quality employment. Among them, 60% of the students found jobs in distinguished companies as Geely Auto Group Co. LTD, Hangzhou Noble Ceramics Co., LTD, China Construction Bank, Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Posts and Telecommunications, Hubei Shayang Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and 7.4% of the students passed the entrance examination for PhD students.

Under the severe and complex employment circumstances, various measures have been taken to achieve high-quality employment for the postgraduates this year. For instance, the Project Management Major has created Internet + employment guidance service by holding micro lectures, establishing employment base and has provided provide alternative job positions for students by means of school-enterprise orders and embedded training models. Besides, students could take interview skills training and other employment activities to improve job hunting skills. Classified and precise services were also provided for postgraduates who wanted to take the exam. For those students who found it difficult to attend job interviews, online interview services were offered by our university to help graduates achieve high-quality employment.

Holding the principle of all-round and whole-process employment service, the School of Logistics and E-commerce of our university has carried out successful career planning guidance for graduate students in recent years. With classroom teaching as the channel, practical activities as the carrier, and precise service as the guidance, the school has gradually improved the employment service guidance system and thus helped graduate students find good jobs after graduation. Up to now, there have been more than 200 graduate students in Logistics Engineering and Management having been employed in group companies, financial institutions, local leading enterprises or universities. Most of these postgraduates have become the business backbone of the work units, and some of them have been admitted to well-known universities for doctoral studies.
