In order to further enhance the cooperative agreement between ZWU and Manukau Institute of Technology, New Zealand, 15 students were selected from different faculties of ZWU and sent to MIT, NZ for 14-day study and exchange activities from August 7th to 20th.
This event was regarded in great esteem by both ZWU and MIT. For ZWU it was a new measure to deepen its international exchange activities while for MIT, the visit by the ZWU students was an important international exchange event. MIT’s warm welcome and considerate arrangements enabled the ZWU students to directly experience daily life in New Zealand and to gain further knowledge about New Zealand’s geography, history, customs as well as MIT’s mode of teaching and learning, the students’ way of selecting courses and requirements for studying in New Zealand. As a result, many students are now interested in receiving further education in New Zealand. The visit has successfully achieved its aim.
