On the morning of June 19th, the vice president YING Min, together with the dean of Foreign Languages College Prof. DONG Jun-feng, warmly welcomed Dr. ZOU Guang-ming (the vice President of the Institute for International Studies) from Murray State University. Murray State University is one of the best public universities in Kentucky with around 10,800 students on a beautiful campus. Of them, there are more than 400 international students. There are seven majors and programs offering more than 130 undergraduate courses and more than 30 graduate courses.
Mr. YING offered a detailed introduction about the history, orientation, cultivation model of Wanli which was greatly affirmed by Dr. ZOU who then exchanged a general introduction about Murray State University, followed by a concrete discussion concerning the future exchange, such as, the majors, the study of the exchange student, the credit recognition, which laid a good foundation for later cooperation. Lastly, Dr. ZOU presented the formal invitation letter to Mr. YING, expecting a visiting delegation from Wanli this October when an exchange cooperation agreement would be signed then.
