Recently, the opening ceremony of Mexican students’ class was held in the lecture hall of the library. Selected by the government of Aguascalientes, 20 Mexican students came to Zhejiang Wanli University for one term study. Eleven of them would study Electric Commerce and nine would be the IOT(Internet of Things) majors.
Attending the ceremony were Professor Ying Min, President of Zhejiang Wanli University, Professor Qian Guoying, Vice President of the university, and the directors of relative colleges and departments. President Ying Min delivered the welcome speech at the ceremony. He introduced to the students the history and features of Ningbo. Besides, he also introduced the history of our university, the general condition of teaching and learning on campus, and the internalization of our university. At last, President Ying hoped the Mexican students would adapt to the new environment soon and have achievements in their academic studies so as to be good messengers in the cultural communication between China and Mexico. At the end of the ceremony, Professor Mo Lili, Director of Foreign Languages College, gave a lecture about Chinese culture, which was high praised by the audience.
