Ying Xiong

Chairman of the Board

Ying Xiong, a research fellow, is cofounder of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group (WEG), Chairman of the WEG Board of Directors, Secretary of the WEG Party Committee, and member of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Ying Xiong is currently Chairman of the Board of Zhejiang Wanli University, taking up office in July, 2023. 

Lin Zhihua

President

Dr. Lin Zhihua is a research fellow II and a PhD supervisor. An expert on the technical system of the national molluscan mariculture industry, he is currently the vice director of the Malacological Society of China, the executive director of China Society of Fisheries, and the vice director of Zhejiang Society of Fisheries. He has led over 20 national and provincial key R&D research projects, and he has supervised the successful breeding of three new aquatic varieties which have been approved by China National Aquaculture Variety Approval Committee. Dr. Lin is a holder of five patents on inventions and the author of two monographs. He has published over 150 significant papers in Chinese and international core journals. He has won one First Prize of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province and six other awards at the provincial and ministerial level, including Second Prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology Awards. Dr. Lin is a State Council Special Allowance Expert (2004), a First-Tier Talent (2008) of the “New Century 151 Talent Project” of Zhejiang Province and a Government-Sponsored Talent (2012) of the same project. 

Dr. Lin oversees the administrative affairs of ZWU, responsible for the work concerning the planning & development, officials, audition, complaints & proposals, and international affairs. He coordinates the construction and development of the Ninghai Campus. Responsible to him are the Presidents’ Office and the Division of International Affairs.

Jiang Jianjun

Party Secretary, Vice President

Professor Jiang Jianjun oversees the party affairs of Zhejiang Wanli University. He is responsible for faculty and personnel development, the ethics of teaching, veteran officials, and education foundation. Responsible to him are the Organization Department, the United Front Department, the Communication Department, and the Human Resources Division (Faculty Affairs Office).

Ma Jianrong

Vice President, Member of CPC Committee of ZWU

Ma Jianrong, a research fellow, oversees the teaching affairs of undergraduates, the admission of undergraduates, laboratory construction projects, sports & arts, further education, and the internationalization of education. He coordinates the construction, development, and procurement management of High-Tech Zone Campus as well as the construction and development of overseas campuses. Responsible to him is the Department of Academic Affairs.

Wang Weizhong

Deputy Party Secretary, Vice President

Dr. Wang Weizhong, a professor, is currently Deputy Party Secretary of Zhejiang Wanli University, taking up office in May, 2016, and Vice President of ZWU, taking up office in July, 2022. He is responsible for student affairs (the Youth League and the Student Union); security and stability; employment and entrepreneurship; Alumni Association; and the management of the Huilong Campus. He assists the work concerning officials. Responsible to him is the Student Affairs Department.

Sun Bin

Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee, Member of CPC Committee of ZWU

Sun Bin is a member of CPC Committee of ZWU, a member of Discipline Inspection Committee of ZWU, and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of ZWU since March, 2019. He assists the work concerning audition. Responsible to him is the Discipline Inspection Office.

Chen Jian’ge

Vice President

Chen Jian’ge, vice president of ZWU since April, 2018, is responsible for campus security, informatization, logistic support, infrastructure construction, and public health. He assists the work concerning veteran officials. Responsible to him are the Office of Campus Development Management and the Document & Information Center. 

Yang Zhenfeng

Vice President, Member of CPC Committee of ZWU

Dr. Yang Zhenfeng, a professor and master supervisor, is responsible for scientific research and school-local cooperation. Responsible to him are the Office of Academic Research and the Division of School-Local Cooperation.

Xu Liqing

Vice President

Xu Liqing, a research fellow, is responsible for the construction of disciplines and postgraduate programs, the teaching affairs of postgraduates, and the affairs concerning “National Alliance for Graduate Education & Development of Application-oriented University”. He assists the work concerning the planning and development of the University. Responsible to him are the Division of Planning and Discipline Construction and the Division of Postgraduate Affairs. 

Wang Fuyin

Secretary-General, Member of CPC Committee of ZWU

Wang Fuyin, an associate research fellow, is responsible for communication and ideology management. He assists the work concerning the management of general affairs and coordinates the affairs of the Board of Directors of ZWU.

Zhu Bangxiang

Member of CPC Committee of ZWU

Zhu Bangxiang, an associate research fellow, is responsible for the work concerning organization and the United Front. He assists the work of talent recruitment.

Zhang Jianqing

Financial Controller

Zhang Jianqing, a senior auditor, is responsible for Financial Planning & Management and Asset management. Responsible to her is the Finance & Planning Division.
