1. Brief Introduction

The Law School consists of two departments, the Law Department and the Department of Public Affairs Administration, including seven teaching and research centers of International Law, Civil & Commercial Law, Economic Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, and Public Affairs Administration, and three research institutes of Maritime Law, Tax Law and Comparative Law.

The Law School provides an excellent teaching and research environment and rich resources. It includes a legal resource center, equipped with adequate legal materials. In recent years, nearly 40 research projects supported by the provincial government have been carried out.

 Most of graduates from the Law School work in government offices, judicial organizations, enterprises, and law firms.

 The Law School has at its disposal first class teaching and learning resources such as the legal training center that consists of a mock court, a video room, a multimedia laboratory, a legal clinic and a criminal detection laboratory.

The train center has a group of qualified teachers with some experienced judges, prosecuting attorneys, and lawyers as instructors. The center serves for students to practice on the campus, to improve their ability of speaking, debating, reasoning, writing, case-handling, and comprehensive analysis, to enable them to apply theories and principles so as to enhance their skills and alertness.

2. Teaching and Learning Facilities

The legal training center consists of a mock court, a video room and a multimedia laboratory. To enable students to acquire practical experience to sharpen their skills, the Law School has established up to 20 practicing bases in the local court of the city for students’ observation and practice during their vacations. In addition, the School organizes sociological research and legal consulting activities to provide the students with further opportunities to hone their skills.
