The 2023 Third Yangtze River Delta Dual System EducationInternational Cooperation Seminar was held in Hefei, Anhui Province from November 23 to 25. On behalf of Zhejiang Wanli University, the Sino-German Department of Branding attended the seminar and delivered a keynote speech.

Zhang Yiping, director of Sino-German Department of Branding and dean of Joint Institute of ZWU and German Brand University of Applied Sciences, made a report titled “Exploration on ‘Brand Building’ Undergraduate Talent Cultivation of Cross-Disciplinary Dual System” . In his report, Zhang detailed the nearly 7-year Sino-German cooperation in running school between ZWU and German Brand University of Applied Sciences, and demonstrated ZWU’s practices in brand building, high-end talent cultivation, introduction of high-quality teaching and industry resources abroad, and the internationalized industry-education integration. Besides, he highlighted the dual system talent cultivation pilot project jointly initiated by ZWU and Hape Holdings AG (Ningbo), which received wide attention and high praise from the experts and scholars present at the conference.

The seminar was jointly organized by Shanghai Education Commission, Department of Education of Jiangsu Province, Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, and Department of Education of Anhui Province. There were a total of more than 170 attendees at the conference, including the leaders from departments of education mentioned above, and many representatives from application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities, vocational colleges, and enterprises. The seminar aims to better integrate international resources in the fields of higher education and industry, and promote the organic integration of the educational chain, the talent chain, the industrial chain, and the innovation chain. Orientated towards the future, ZWU will seize development opportunities, continuously deepen the dual education and teaching reform, vigorously promote the development concept of “Brand Leading, Sino-German Integration, and Dual Education”, and continue to cultivate international application-oriented talents for brand building.
