Huamei College of Life and Health Publishes Paper in Authoritative International Journal

Recently, the research team from Huamei College of Life and Health of ZWU published a research paper titled “WiSense: A Dataset for WiFi-based Human Activity Recognition” in the international journal IEEE Wireless Communications (latest impact factor: 10.9), with Zhejiang Wanli University as the first affiliation. The first author of the paper is Liao Zhenlong, a faculty member of Huamei College of Life and Health.

The paper introduces the WiSense dataset created by the authors, aimed at supporting research on human activity recognition using WiFi signals. It addresses the limitations of existing datasets, the high cost and time-consuming nature of collecting WiFi data, and provides high-quality, easily accessible WiFi data for machine learning applications.

Huamei College of Life and Health is a newly established secondary college co-built by Zhejiang Wanli University, Ningbo Second Hospital, and the National Institute of Life and Health Industry Research in Ningbo. It is dedicated to the cultivation of “new medical” talent, technological research and development, and industrial services.
