Dr. Qian Guoying, a second-level professor and a Ph.D. supervisor, is currently the Chairman of the National Alliance for Graduate Education & Development of Application-oriented University. She specializes in the research of high-quality traits in aquatic animals and nutritional regulation. In addition to being a leader of over 20 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, Dr. Qian has undertaken over 20 national-level academic projects, including the Prophase Project of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), Program of the National Natural Science Foundation, National Program for Key Science & Technology Projects, Program for Agricultural Achievements Transformation, and the Public Science and Technology Research Funds Projects of Ocean. She has authored 192 papers with a total citation count of 4550, and holds 34 granted invention patents. Dr. Qian has been honored with two first prizes of the “Harvest Award” from the Ministry of Agriculture and seven second prizes for technological progress in Zhejiang Province. Recognized as a First-Tier Talent of the “New Century 151 Talent Project” of Zhejiang Province, she also serves as a consultant expert for major science and technology projects in the province and is distinguished as an Outstanding Talent of Ningbo City.

Dr. Qian is entitled to Special Allowance of the State Council and has received numerous accolades, including the National Outstanding Educator Award, National March 8th Red Flag Bearer, Young Expert with Outstanding Contributions to Zhejiang Province, Meritorious Teacher of Zhejiang Province, Excellent University Teacher, and Model Worker of Ningbo City.
