Since its establishment in September 2019, Digital Industry Research Institute, in collaboration with Zhejiang Engineering Research Center for Big Data Technology and Application of Internet of Things (IoT), Ningbo Engineering Research Center for Big Data Technology and Application of Internet of Things (IoT) and Ningbo Universities and Colleges Collaborative Innovation Center for Big Data Technology and Application of Internet of Things(IoT), has built six laboratories in different research areas, with an eye to conducting technology research and development, talent reserve, talent cultivation and promotion in the field of Big Data of Internet of Things (IoT). Now, on the faculty of the Institute are the academicians of the Russian Academy of Engineering, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and the British (International) Society of Engineering and Technology, and the institute has won two sci-tech awards at the provincial and ministerial levels, and has obtained 12 national invention patents.
